# Getting started

> Put live chat on your website and start answering visitors.

Writine is live chat for your website and a shared inbox for the people who
answer it. A visitor opens the widget and types. Your team sees the message in
one inbox and replies. Nobody on the visitor side needs an account.

## To get started, you'll need

    Anywhere you can edit HTML, just before the closing `</body>` tag. That is

## What a conversation looks like

A visitor sends a message. It lands in your inbox, where any member can pick it
up, reply, assign it to someone, or leave an internal note the visitor cannot
see. If nobody is available, the widget collects the message and an email
address so you can answer later.

  the Free plan, which allows ten chats per day and needs no card.
